16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Herb Good- Elder Chairman
I was born in 1942 in Spangler, Pennsylvania. However, I was born-again on October 11th, 1981 here at Corner House Christian Church. As I look back, I can remember how I was drawn to this church by my little sister, Michelle Leah, boarding a little blue bus to attend Vacation Bible School. She, with my late-wife Jessica, continued to attend, and were baptized on May 14th 1978. Going to church seemed to make their lives so much more joyful.
One day my son Jim and I were talking and I told him we should check out the reason they were still attending. I thought, there must be something good there. So, we went and I felt His calling on my life. I began learning and understanding what Jesus had done for us. A perfect sacrifice for eternal life.
My life has never been fuller or more Blessed. While I've served many roles and duties for the Lord, my favorite thing to do for God is music. For over 35 years, our Corner House band, The Fellowship, has ministered with music to the elderly, shut-ins, revivals, camps and wherever or whenever we've been asked to serve.
When Jesus calls, make sure you answer it! Come worship with us. We would love to see you at Corner House.
